Linn Biorklund

Postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Barcelona, funded by Canada’s Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), and a member of GER. She holds a PhD in Human Geography and brings together political geography, anthropology, critical border studies and transnational feminist approaches. Her research examines violence, political economies and care along migration routes, in extractive zones and in spaces of refuge, with a particular focus on Mexico. She is a member of the seminar team and co-hosts the podcast with Martin Lundsteen.
